I see that you have "Marathon" as one of your Connect With Me categories. Great news! We have added a few new articles to the Marathon category in the Know How section (go to Build, Use, Share Know How > Race Distances > Marathons). The articles are great marathon tips and advice compiled from Loungers.

Yep, this is my first time at Timberline. Although i Know the general area well because I have done some mountaineering on Mt Hood. Some time next week I'll post a few comments and pictures on my blog: zen-quest.blogspot.com.

~cheers~

Hi Al, Wow, the W&O D trail looks very interesting. It is very cool to get your messsage with a link to such an interesting place. What events do they have on the trail? The website mentions rollerblades, is the path good enough to skate on?

Next Friday I have a business meeting near Seattle, then I will continue on to Mtr Hood Oregon for the Timberline Marathon on Saturday. This week I will take one 6 mile run and a three 3 mile runs to stay loose and get a good stretch in after each one (on race week I stretch a half hour a day after a short run).

What are you doing this week?

Hi Trailman -Thank for joining the Wilderness Running Group. I put it together to see if we could get a little chatter going about different trail running expereinces people ahre having. I think you might be the first person to join!

So, please send me a message and tell me what you are up to this week. I am laying low, resting up for the Timberline Marathon next weekend. It is a trail run all on the Pacific Crest Trail on the south flank of Mt Hood in Oregon. Some of the run is above treeline and it might cross a few snowfields (two weeks ago I ran Ptarmigan Ridge in the North Cascades and was MOSTLY on sonw!)

~cheers~

Your interests mention marathons and ultras. Do you have any races coming up soon?
