Amy, Thanks for the welcome, it is great to be back from vacation and find this site. Looking forward to making new friends, and learning from them!!

Hi Amy, thanks for your comment! I just completed my first 5K (ever in adulthood!) this week and hope to do one each month this summer plus the local 8K Turkey Trot at Thanksgiving.
Happy running!

I'm assuming that since you were added as an immediate friend, you must be pretty friendly. Thanks for the site, and keep on running.

Glad you had a great 10! I thought of you (as I was eating a slice of pizza) and realized that today was long run day. We are travelling tonight and tomorrow. Hope to get my 10 in on Sunday or Monday. Happy 4th!

Amy,

Thank you for sending the "I am a Runner" bracelets. I would be quite happy to pay for them, if you let me know a price.

Thanks for your post about my time on the half marathon. I was a little disappointed because I was shooting for a 2 hour half, but it was a great experience. Maybe one of these days I will get around to posting a story about my half marathon experience. Suffice it to say that I wished I would have trained to a higher mileage than was recommended by the Hal Higdon plan.

yes, I am feeling better and have been getting back into my running and biking more. Thanks for asking. Hope all is well with you.

Amy, thanks for your comments.
I haven't thought about a race yet but I have plenty of motivation with a bowhunting vacation in 2 months in Utah. I will be around 11,000 feet elevation and need to be able to hike for 10-12 hours a day. I know what it is like without doing the work and the running, I sure don't want to go through that like I did 2 years ago.
Thanks again
Jason

Thanks for your thoughts, Amy! Since I don't have kids or a stressful job (right now at least), I guess I don't need that much Me Time! But I will keep trying to find my solo groove out there on the trails...
