Started running in May 07. Ran for weight loss and fitness.
Would like to improve upon base and build more endurance.
My first and only race so far was a 5K in December 2007. I ran a 27:07 which I was quite pleased with as it was after a light snowfall and cold and windy. My personal best on a 10K is 56:50 in November 2007. In 2008 I have dealt with a rehab of an ankle injury and my 5K now range between 29-32 minutes and 58 - 63 minutes on 10k.
My goal this summer and fall is to stay fit, maintain or lose weight and to get back to my training paces achieved in fall 2007.
