Hi P.O.M,

Would you like to be our Open Mic Interview for next week? I would love to learn more about you and your running and I know the Lounge would feel the same.

YES!!! Love the new plan. You are ambitious. I could modify your plan to my no marathoning life...

Thanks so much! It is now an article of the Know How section, under Weight.

Hey Pieces,

As you heard (53 comments!), you had a great post on Thursday about weight loss tips! Would you mind if I shared your article in the Know How site with credit/link back to you?

Thanks, thanks!! I thought it was comical when I read your recent post - I am looking for a NEW plan and you are observing a NO plan. :)

You are building a great network of Portland Marathoners. Even though I'm not running it--running Chicago the next week--I'm going to hang out with your cool group.

Yo back at you!

The Spibelt seemed like a good fit for you. Loved your choice of black for "stealth."

Amy and I will keep an eye out for more Portland marathoners and you can keep them networked and chatting.

Hi POM.

So glad you started this group--and just when we had two new members join the Lounge and who are signed up to run Portland. I see you have already met Chia Runner and April.

You'll be a great moderator, and will generate some great chatter about your race.

Amy and I really need to think about joining all of you in Portland.

How do you like your Spibelt?

Hey, I am almost through with the book and the basic premise is very simple: a plant-based whole foods diet is the way to go to prevent and cure obesity, heart disease, diabetes, cancer, autoimmune diseases, osteoporosis, kidney, eye and brain diseases. According to the extensive research he and others have done (which is presented in great detail in the book), animal foods (meat, fish, dairy and eggs) are positively linked to these illnesses. It's definitely eye-opening, maybe in a way we would rather not see, but very convincing.
