Oops...I forgot to add this....I was at a sub shop the other day and the girl at the register asked me what my name was for the order. She thought my name was Butsy. Yeah sure....my parents named me Butsy, ya twit. Now, I've had Busty before, but I draw the line at being named after someone's hind quarters.

Thanks for the encouragement for the marathon : ). I knew I wouldn't stay away either...I miss the distance and I'm excited about it!!!

Hey Betsy...It was great meeting you too yesterday. Congrats on the half, you just keep getting faster and faster! I have to get past another full marathon in Fargo next weekend before I can relax a bit and enjoy the Seafair Half...but it does look like a fun one!

Congrats on your continued running but more importantly your weight loss! Good for you! You give me hope that maybe someday I can both be thin and run fast. :}

Hey Betsy!
Ha! Yes, I get Betty, Becky, Betsey (which I think sounds like BetsSAY!), Betsie, Patsy, Besty, and (believe it or not) Busty.
Thanks for the welcome wishes!

Thank you so much for your birthday note and well wishes! Hopey our training is still going well as you continue on your marathon journey!

Hi Betsy! It's great to hear from someone who's done Medoc (and Goofy). I've only recently started marathons, and I don't take myself to seriously, so Medoc sounds perfect. Goofy is a little more challenging, but it can't be too serious surrounded by Disney characters. I too am on a BQ quest, but I think the earliest I might manage that is in the Fall or next Spring. Vancouver is quite a fast course, so hopefully I'll edge closer to my BQ time there. Victoria was my first marathon, and the course is beautiful, well worth the trip. It is a rolling course, however, not the easiest to PB on. I'll have to go back to your blog and read more about your adventures!
