I'm a non-runner training for my first marathon! I have been dabbling in running and other types of self-improvement for a long time. I have always wanted to be a "runner" but I don't seem to keep up the positive changes long enough to build. My husband suggested THE NON-RUNNER'S MARATHON TRAINER for a set schedule of training and escalating mileage. Having a schedule has helped me a great deal and I no longer miss runs. I have had some foot problems, so I have ammended my goals to a half marathon, but only for now. I still want to do a marathon. I STILL WANT TO BE A RUNNER!!
I want to run consistently and keep making progress. I want to run longer races.

10/7/07 ~ Race for the Cure - 5k - 34:14
10/21/07 ~ Des Moines IMT 1/2 Marathon ~ 2:59:31
12/8/07 ~ 8 Miles on the 8th - yes I made it up.

2008 ~ A winter race in Tucson?? Drake Relays 8k?? Dam to Dam ??
