I have been running for over 22 years now, and began my road racing career with the 1987 Grandmas Marathon. My favorite road race of all time, this race is held in Duluth, MN. I have run this beautiful race over 12 times and enjoy the scenery it offers as the course winds along the north shore of Lake Superior.

Another favorite of mine is the Living History Farms off-road race in Des Moines, IA. This unique race is a great way to finish up the season by experiencing all sorts of running conditions: hills, trails, fields, woods, streams, etc.
