Good job on your swim! outside of a great run that pushes me, a swim that does the same is almost as rewarding. The only difference is it feels right to give a good yell at the end of a run (outside) but it is always so darn quiet in the pool. People always look at me funny!

Congratulations on Chicago. I hope you are not to disappointed. You have to forget about your time because that heat must have been friggin' nasty. Before Erie I just knew I was going to have this great race and blow past the 3 hour mark.. and than the weather kicked my ass with pouring rain and 74 degrees. Hopefully, you have another race planned soon and can give it another shot under some reasonable conditions.

Hey man. Good luck in Chicago. Breaking 3 would be an amazing accomplishment. I'm going to give it another shot in Richmond.

6:52's or bust!

Hi Doug,

Thanks for setting up this Lounge Group. I hope we meet some new runners here before next weekend. Really glad you set the stage for pre-race meetings and post-race stories. Good luck with the rest of your taper. Tom
