Well, I got married last June and found myself doing exactly what I promised my best friend I wouldn't...getting LAZY (well, I promised her I wouldn't get fat but one thing leads to another!) So, since the gym wasn't cutting it, I figured I'd start doing something I have always enjoyed - I decided to become a real runner! First big stop...Portland Marathon!
Well, I just began this running journey so this will be my first season. I'm starting off with a 5k on the 10th of May followed by a mixture of various races all leading up to the Portland Marathon in October.
