I absolutely love trail running, though it is something I've only recently discovered - about 5 years ago. Prior to that it was intermittent bouts of being a runner.

There's nothing better than getting on the trails here in Colorado and just running until your life is back in focus again. I own two businesses so running, and refocusing, is a necessity!

Not typically a competitive person I have only participated in one race in the past ten years, it was a half marathon. Unfortunately I trained on trails and this was on pavement. The pavement put me in physical therapy for two years to restore my hip. In fact I was told not to run again or suffer a lifetime of cortisone injections and hip replacement.

HA! I'm now pain free and well into my marathon training. I'm running the Leadville Trail Marathon in July, 08.
