So...how did everyone do in their fall marathon and/or half marathons?? What about other races?

I ran Chicago (4th marathon), and set a new PR by 16 minutes coming in at 3:39:59 - yes, I sprinted the last 1/5 mile to make it under 3:40 :-) I'm extatic, and can't wait until my next marathon!

Wow DR that is a huge PR! Congrats! You had some perfect weather in Chi-town this year.

I ran Columbus and went out too fast as usual. I eeked out a BQ but it wasn't pretty. Finish time: 3:58:45

Nice work Teamarcia - I have debated many times if I'd like to BQ - I don't even know if I'm physically capable of it (would need to get under 3:15)...I think I really want to, but running Boston seems like such a HUGE challenge - but we only live once...right :-) Good Luck if you are planning to run Boston!!

I ran my second marathon this fall, the Grand Rapids Metro Health Marathon, and beat my first marathon time by over 18 minutes! I finished in 3:12:58. I am extremely happy with my time and how I felt during and after the race. I had very little recovery time. I was walking around normally that night and the next day, like nothing happened! :-)

My husband ran Grand Rapids with me and qualified for Boston with 7 seconds to spare, so we are both registered and excited for next spring!
